Newcomers to Québec always have the chance to enroll in French courses whether soon after they arrive or over a limited period afterwards . They are offered a variety of courses that best suits their needs as well as they benefit financially from the incentive that is provided by the Government of Québec.
The French courses offered are:
- Full-time
- Part-time
- Specialized by field of employment
- Online French learning
Although eligibility criteria differ from one type to another, yet it has been made more flexible and rewarding, even financially.
Starting July 1st, 2019, the Government of Québec extended the scope of eligibility so more immigrants and specific categories of temporary residents can enroll in these courses (The later need to verify that this does not contradict with the conditions of their temporary stay in Québec).
